Tung Oil is also known as China Wood Oil, and is extracted from Tung tree nuts.
It is a valuable product for the treatment of wood.

It is available in 190 kg drums to the following specification:

Colour: transparent
Beta Tung Oil Test: negative (no crystalline precipitate)
Worstall Heat Test: 7.5 minutes
Refractive Index (at 20ºC): 1.5170 – 1.5220
Specific Gravity (at 20ºC): 0.9360 – 0.9395
Saponification Value: 190-195
Free Fatty Acid: 4.0% max
Moisture and Impurities: 0.3% max
Iodine Value: 163 – 173
